"Robotics for the Youngest" as Part of Global Money Week

As part of the Global Money Week, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), we organized educational workshops in five primary schools across the country.

The activities were implemented with the support of class teachers who had previously undergone training within the "Robotics for the Youngest" program.

The workshops were held with students from grades I to IV in the following schools:

– Workshop at the Primary School "Sutjeska", Podgorica, was held on March 16, and was led by teacher Katarina Nikčević.
– Workshop at the Primary School "Savo Pejanović", Podgorica, was held on March 19, and was led by teacher Nihada Grbović (certified trainer).
– Workshop at the Primary School "Milorad Musa Burzan", Podgorica, was held on March 19, and was led by teacher Danijela Milošević.
– Workshop at the Primary School "Mirko Srzentić", Petrovac, was held on March 19, and was led by teachers Ivana Kurtović and Mila Medin (certified trainers).
– Workshop at the Primary School "Kekec", Sutomore, was held on March 19, and was led by teacher Dragana Aprcović (certified trainer).

Through these activities, the students had the opportunity to learn about responsible money management, saving, and decision-making in a way that is close and understandable to them, while simultaneously developing digital and technical skills by working with educational robots.

The "Robotics for the Youngest" program has once again proven its value as a platform that connects education, innovation, and the development of key competencies for the 21st century. The integration of robotics into various teaching topics, including financial literacy, contributes to creating a dynamic and motivating learning environment.

In the coming period, the program continues through the second round of accredited trainings for teachers from all primary schools in Montenegro. The certified training entitled "Application of Robotics for Innovative Teaching Methods and Development of Students' Key Competencies" will be implemented with the aim of further strengthening the capacity of teaching staff and expanding the application of robotics in classrooms across the country.

The Robotics for the Youngest program is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, and the Central Bank of Montenegro, with the support of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis.
